Although it does not appear to reduce the actual levels of stress we experience, tea does seem to have a greater effect in bringing stress hormone levels back to normal," says researcher Andrew Steptoe, of the University College London, in a news release. Joanie Winberg’s offer a solution by CD and jornal set 40 Days to a Happier Life that teaches Stress Management , and to take charge of your life. In addition to two CDs containing her Top 40 inspirational quotes and tips to feel motivated and inspired every day, the set includes the Happy Wednesday Instructional Journal.

Winberg also provides three healthy tips to avoid unwanted holiday stress:

1. Plan Ahead: Create a workable schedule to get everything important done. Take care of the priority items before taking on the less important things.

2. Relax and Have Fun Laughing: You deserve to relax and have fun every day - and the
holiday season is no exception. Spend a little of each day doing what makes you laugh out loud.

3. Learn to say ‘no’: It really is OK to say “no” to things you don’t have time to do or don’t have an interest in. If you are saying “yes” because you’re worried about what someone might think, then you’ll feel resentful and out of control.

Feng shui stress release home over £ 1 million

As per one of the Scottish newspaper the Daily Record there is a perfect home for stressed househunters now on the market in Scotland. And its on the rise among the NRI couples, especially among the low income group.

"Regarding the low income group, they hardly stay more than three months with their partners. Even during their stay, they are undergoing all sorts ofStress , which defuse the chances of a healthy sex life. Environment pollution and life style are other factors that are contributing to the growing rate of infertility. Obesity could lead to frequent abortions,” said Dr Ashraf who had conducted more than 20,000 successful laparoscopic surgeries.

Stress Management Can Help in Type 2 Diabetes

Patients with type 2 diabetes who incorporate stress management techniques into their routine care can significantly reduce their average blood glucose levels, according to a new study by researchers at Duke University Medical Center.

Stress can increase glucose levels in people with diabetes, making them more susceptible to long-term physical complications such as eye, kidney or nerve disorders.

"The stress management techniques, when added to standard care, helped reduce glucose levels," said Richard Surwit, Ph.D., lead author of the study and a medical psychologist at Duke. Here are 5 Stress relievers fast and most effective.

1) Breathing Exercises:Deep breathing is an easy stress reliever that has numerous benefits for the body, including oxygenating the blood, which ‘wakes up’ the brain, relaxing muscles and quieting the mind. Breathing exercises are especially helpful because it can be done anywhere and these can quickly de-stress. Abdominal breathing and Yogic full breathing are good example.

2) Meditation:Meditation builds on deep breathing, and takes it a step further. When you are in meditating state, it results in release of certain hormones that promote health.

3) Visualizations:One can imagine oneself achieving goals like becoming healthier and more relaxed, doing well at tasks, and handling conflict in better ways. Also, visualizing oneself doing well on tasks one can improve one’s performance through visualizations.

4) Instant Relaxation TechniqueBy tensing and relaxing all the muscle groups in your body, you can relieve tension and feel much more relaxed in minutes, with no special training or equipment. Start by tensing all the muscles in your face, holding a tight grimace 3or 4 seconds, then completely relaxing for next few seconds. Repeat this with your neck, followed by your shoulders, etc. You can do this anywhere, and as you practice, you will find you can relax more quickly and easily, reducing tension as quickly as it starts

5) Hatha yoga Yoga is one of the oldest self-improvement practices around. Major benefit of yoga is that it combines the practices of several other stress management techniques such as breathing, meditation, imagery and movement, giving you a lot of benefit for the amount of time and energy required. One can begin with gentle yoga exercises and later on build up the strength for advance yoga postures.

Stress Causes Hair Loss in Women

As per one estimate more than four million Britons are suffering from such intense
Stressand it is making their hair fall out, according to a new study.
