Obesity due to Stress and fast food

According to a survey by Christian portal on finding out the biggest contributing factor for obesity, the majority of 237 respondents agreed that eating the wrong foods and lack of exercise are major contributors.

Many respondents commented that fast foods are a major culprit because they provide a quick way to take care of meals. Emotional eating due to stress is another path that could lead to weight gain.

In fast changing nuclear family system people do not have family support or services to get through life." Some people find comfort in food.

Several participants brought up the point that watching too many fast food ads on television can contribute to eating more fast foods and becoming obese.


Depression and Stress can lead to obesity as sufferers reach for anything to make them feel better.
